HELLIQ is derived from “Hellenic IQ-society worldwide” and “Helios” (the sun).
The society was founded in 2001 and currently has more than 70 members, with a strict admission criteria: it accepts only candidates who have passed a standardized and supervised IQ test.
The aim of the society is the exchange of ideas and activities on a highly intellectual level; it also includes providing simple solutions to complex problems within discussions and activities, in-part together with other high-IQ-societies.
