the structure of the dragon letters

There are hundred kinds of trees, so you can guess that there are hundred letters in the ideogram which symbolize the kind of tree.

Pine, oak, maple, willow…  etc. etc.

I tried to include the basic letters all. But it will be an impossible mission. Can you communicate  enough just with 200 words? A single Ideogram letter means a word in a sense.  My letter selection process has no scholastic base.  It is arbitrary. It was as pleased by me. The primary selection criterion was the fewer strokes.

Fortunately, number 1,2,3 are very similar to the Roman number I,II,III.

Only one difference is that Chinese ideograms are drawn horizontally, while Roman numbers are done vertically.  Number 10 has also the same figure with the Roman number X. The orientation angle differs.

How do you think about the similarity? Is it a coincidence? Or Had they had any correspondence between the ancient Chinese and the Roman ancestors?

I hope you enjoy these ideogram images without trying to memorize the letters. I am sure it can be enjoyable. Many ideogram letters seem to express the meaning by themselves as the number 1,2,3. Nowadays, Korean children are enjoying the Chinese ideograms as the picture characters. Some toy makers and publishers are manufacturing the Chinese ideogram cards with the cartoon characters. Recently a comic book series made a big hit. Its title can be translated as ‘Magic thousand letters’. As for Korean children, the ideogram is the optional school work. For Hangul, Korean alphabet is sufficient for the literal communication. It is as American do not have to know the Latin words to understand the meaning of a word. It will be easier to memorize if he know the Latin source of syllable. This booklet can be a small pleasure to American and European who are interested in the Far Eastern cultures and the business with the Far Eastern Asians.
